Seems the Eclipse star got sick of the boring Bella browns. That's right, Kristen Stewart has cut her hair short and dyed it a pretty, much-lighter strawberry blonde.

According to Hollywood Life, Kristen already let it slip that she'd be taking her hair lighter for her role in big screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road, in which she plays drifter Dean Moriarity's wife MaryLou.
And then today she showed up for her taping of the Late Show with David Letterman with this chic, more sophisticated hairdo. I think the new look livens her up a bit and makes her eyes stand out more. The color is really lovely -- way better than the Joan Jett black and the Bella brown. I give it a thumbs up.
I wonder if loverboy RPatts likes redheads...

I think she looks 10 years older and more ordinary.
I don't like it. It makes her look older that what she really is. She also looks like Lisa Rinna with that haircut.

It looks great! It goes good with her skin and brings out her green eyes. BTW She did NOT cut her hair, It's simply pinned up. Besides the color is closer to her natural color than the Bella Brown or Joan Jett Black.
This hair color complements her skin nicely. She looks a bit washed out with darker hair.

I love it and this isn't the best pic I've seen of her with the red hair... there are dozens out there that are much better. And like others are saying, her hair hasn't been cut short, it's just pinned up. What a beautiful, natural looking girl she is. I know she'll be around for a long time in the movie business. Producers love actors who are versatile and you know you are not going to be type-cast into one type of role when you can play Joan Jett and nail it and then play a teenage prostitute and so on. I love that she stays true to herself. She is just a breath of fresh air.
