The Tonys were last night, in a super-humid and rainy NYC. I bet the makeup artists and hair stylists were scrambling to keep the mascara from running and the frizzies in check.
Scarlett Johansson won a Tony Award for her performance in A View From the Bridge and she also won big for outfit choice.
Her gorgeous sparkly deep green Elie Saab floor-length dress looked fantastic.
Minimal jewelry was the only way to go with this look.
And her up-swept pompadour hair was a perfect funky twist on a classic look.
Catherine Zeta-Jones had a bit of a hair blunder ....
Catherine's bangs were curled under -- it felt a little prom-ish. And the frosty eye makeup that was matchy-matchy with her dress was a little ... um ... too much. Maybe this was her only option to keep the hair in check because of the weather? Her dress was pretty -- it was Versace -- but I didn't love the color on her.
Lea Michele brought the sun in a bright yellow Zac Posen dress. Posen can almost do no wrong -- his creations always look amazing on whoever is in them. Lea looked gorgeous with a bright berry lip and, like Scarlett, very minimal jewelry.
Best dressed out of these three? It's hard to choose between Scarlett and Lea. Scarlett's dress was dark but was unexpected in green instead of black, plus it brought glimmer with the sparkles. Lea's dress was just all around bright and I love the draping.
I'll have to choose Scarlett ... just because she had the better accessory -- Ryan Reynolds.
What do you think of these looks? Who do you think looked the best at the Tonys?
