Let's get one thing straight.
Trina Turk is waaaay beyond my budget.
But every time I see one of this designer's dresses, I swoon.
A girl can dream, right?
Otherwise known as the poor woman's fashion magazine.
I couldn't resist showing you a few of my favorites from the Trina Turk line.
Even though I can't afford her clothes, these pictures give me some great ideas on how to wear colors and styles I can afford.

TrinaTurk.com, Scala Top, $258I love the idea of pairing lightweight tunic tops or swimsuit cover-ups with a well-fitted pair of shorts. It's so summery yet age-appropriate. A teenager could never pull this look off, but darlings, WE CAN. Great accessories here, too.
TrinaTurk.com, Seedling Short, $148I've read a lot about how to wear mismatched prints together, but I've never felt entirely comfortable doing it myself. I'm loving these printed shorts with this striped shirt, though. It's fun and whimsical without being just plain silly.
TrinaTurk.com, $348This dress reminds me of something a very glamorous woman from the '60s would wear to a cocktail party. That's my kind of style!
What do you think of Trina Turk? Is this your kind of designer? If not, who is?
