Now that we're in sandal-wearing weather, it's time to polish those tooties.

No chipped or overgrown nails allowed!

My advice: Invest in a good pedicure at the start of summer.

Men, that includes you too -- just go for clear polish or none at all.

They will cut and shape your nails, buff your soles, trim your cuticles, and slough off dead, dry skin.

It should last you up to six weeks and then either get another one or just do the polish yourself like I do. I'm usually too ticklish to go back for another. Plus, it's much cheaper to just buy a new nail polish.

My new fave line it Spa Ritual. It's vegan and free of chemicals like toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP.

Here are my favorite shades for summer from the line.

Thunder Road: Funky gals like Rihanna love these pastel shades of blue and purple.

Flight of Fancy: I love going very preppy with my toes sometimes by painting them very, very light pink or cream.
