Mango: Style Inspiration

Scarlett Johansson
Perhaps you've seen Scarlett Johansson in the latest ads for Mango clothes.

I think she looks fantastic, don't you? And her look is one any mom could shoot for- romantic, old fashioned, and slightly, sexily undone.

I've seen a lot of Mango lately, in fashion magazines and on celebrities. I've resisted the label only because it reminded me too much of Chris Kattan's character on Saturday Night Live!

However, Scarlett's pretty photos convinced me to give Mango's website a shot. Boy, am I glad I did! Take a look.

Navigating Mango's website is like reading a fashion magazine. Mango is all about the photo shoots, and there are plenty to enjoy as you search for clothes. I love the pretty Battenburg lace dress Johansson is sporting in this picture.

Here's a look any of us could copy- with a simple dress, a long cardigan, and a grosgrain ribbon around the waist. Love!

And here's another easy look to emulate, taken straight from Mango's runway show. It's a look I've covered on this blog before, courtesy of Reese Witherspoon. Pair a simple dress with a denim jacket and you've instantly got one of the hottest looks going this season!

Here's another comfortable summer look that won't have you sucking in your stomach all day. Wear a slouchy top over shorts, belt it at the hip, and put a lightweight vest on over the whole thing. So cute!

Wondering how to wear your denim this season? Check out this great idea from Mango- Take a chambray shirt, add a flirty, full skirt, and put a belt around it. Instant style!

Finally, be bold with an all-white look. Wear your white crop pants with a white boyfriend jacket (the one I mentioned from Spiegel a few days ago would be perfect) and a white cami underneath. Ooh la la!

Best of all, Mango has clothing as low as $10! Check out Mango's online shop here and sort the clothes by price. You'll find hundreds of items under $60, and nearly everything in the shop is under $150. Not bad for a line that's hot with Hollywood ingenues.
