Great info Lindsay! I am pleased to say that I have many similar pieces already... I really LOVE the necklace from Anthropologie and those nude heels. So cute. I have a question for you, I know you profess to abhor capris but then you post about cropped pants all the time. Can you please tell me what the difference is? I know there are plenty of "capris" I would never wear, those that are embroidered with mini martini glasses for example or even those that have buttons on the cuffs but I don't really know what determines the terminology "capri" vs. that of "cropped." Thanks in advance for clearing up this ever so pressing fashion mystery.

The telltale sign of capris is that slit on either side of the pant-- If it's got the slit, I run! LOL Nearly all crop pants are rolled up this season, and you can't roll up capris without turning them into long shorts, so I'd still avoid them. The only crop pants I'd personally consider buying are the skinny ones (J.Crew has a pair called the Minnie that look really cute). Otherwise, I really prefer rolling up long pants to just above the ankle- That's long enough to look "cropped" without giving you that squat look.

I'd add the cross body bag. (I think you even wrote about those.) I spotted Reese wearing one with her "bow" shirt in your other post today. I totally dig the cross body bag in the summer because it's great for traveling. It's so comfy and you have two free hands for toting luggage, children, shopping bags, etc. I haven't bought one yet. I can't decide whether I should splurge or "shop my closet" for a cross body bag from days gone by.

I love the floral dress, indeed floral and summer seems to be synonymous. I need to check the Gap store and see if they have that knit jacket.
