...my new necklace from Cambria Cove.

Okay, okay. I know you're all like, "WHAT? I thought this blog was about stuff I could actually afford!" Let me explain.

When I was at Mom 2.0 a couple of months ago, Cambria Cove hosted a hospitality suite chock full of its catalog offerings. There were suitcases and pajamas and candles, but the real reason Yvonne and I went up there? Was for the food.

OH MAN. THE FOOD.

I should not be writing about this while I'm doing Atkins because I might faint from the mere thought of Cambria Cove's cheesecake. It was literally the best cheesecake I've ever tasted- and since cheesecake is my stepdaughter's favorite dessert and my husband is a foodie, I'VE HAD A LOT OF CHEESECAKE.

And then there was this mustard honey dip for pretzels that I very nearly stuffed into my handbag when our hostess wasn't looking. GAH. GOOD.

Anyway, there was a drawing for a $150 gift certificate from Cambria Cove and I entered it before I left. An hour later, I was checking my e-mails on my laptop when I noticed that I HAD WON THE $150!!!

SQUEEEEEE!!!

I got home and immediately got on the Cambria Cove website. Cheesecake! Cheesecake! Cheesecake!

Cambria Cove has beautiful, classic jewelry at prices that are special occasion-worthy. My necklace was $245, but I got a 20% discount using the code MOM (hint, hint), which brought the price down to $196. With my $150 gift certificate, I ended up only paying $46.

I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on this necklace since it has arrived- It's something I hope my daughter wears one day.
