Hot Trend: The Little White Dress

Whitney Port goes for a retro look in a little white dress and neutral heels.

Demi Moore pairs her LWD with black platform pumps.

The Little White Dress is emerging as a key look for Spring. Gwyneth Paltrow is an aficionado of the look (although she advises pairing it with an "oversized cape"- NO THANKS) and New York Magazine has termed it "ubiquitous."/ But let's face it. Most of us can't afford the options the fashion magazines are offering.

Fortunately, I'm here to help!

Here are some of my favorite budget-friendly options for your Spring 2010 LWD.

This is an amazing option from Anthropologie and quite affordable for Anthro at $118.

For a dressier look, I love this long beaded dress from Max & Cleo, $168 at Nordstrom.

This pretty sheath dress from White House Black Market comes with removable straps and would work really well either alone or underneath a blazer or jacket. It's $158.

I have my eye on this cute and casual shirt dress, just $39.90 from Alloy.

Keep it simple in this pretty Beach Dress, $98 from J. Crew. Delicious.

My wardrobe really isn't complete without a basic white sheath- and this is a great option. $168 from Dillards.

I'm definitely keeping an eye out for this gorgeous $118 Calvin Klein shirt dress.

I really love the flattering construction of this breezy sundress. It would work at the beach, on a picnic, or out on a date night. $133 at Tommy Bahama.

This dress from Laundry by Shelli Segal is a more affordable version of a similar one at Lilly Pulitzer right now$195 at Nordstrom.

Need a few more options? Here you go!

Now how can you possibly resist owning a little white dress of your own???
