Spring Colors: Yellow

Yellow is another great color to tie into your wardrobe this spring. It was all over the runways and now is showing up on the stars as well.

Lauren Conrad makes an appearance in a gorgeous yellow coat THAT SHOULD BE MINE. Um. Kidding. Sort of.

Wear your yellow in unexpected ways, whether you pair it with black (above, from Nordstrom's latest catalog), or use it to accent turquoise or coral. The only rule of thumb with yellow this upcoming season is to avoid the matchy matchy! I know it's hard for those of us who were taught our purse should always match our shoes and coordinate perfectly with our dress- but learning to mix up those colors is the key to looking modern and on-trend.

Here are some great yellow options to work into your wardrobe that will fit into any budget.

I just love this $18 yellow floral clip from Anthropologie. Because it's a clip, you can either wear it in your hair or on a blazer, cardigan, or even on a belt.

For the money, this is my favorite of the cardigans out there. It's $59.50 at Talbots and comes in two different shades of yellow, among several other colors. Scrumptious!

I've had my eye on these $39 Colin Stuart sandals for some time now. Divine.

This eyelet dress from Delia's is so fresh and pretty, and only $44.50! It would look fantastic with a coral cardigan and neutral sandals.

This $69.95 bag from DSW is guaranteed to get you noticed. In a good way.

Reader "zendragonfly" just sent me the link to these wedges from Payless. They're just $19.99 and super cute!

Tie this pretty spring scarf around your neck over a teal, coral, or atonal dress. $19.99 from GAP. Gorgeous!

I'm loving the neckline of this dress, $138 from Nordstrom. Imagine how pretty it would look under a cardigan!

These sandals= FIERCE.
They're featured in this month's Nordstrom catalog and they're $79.95.

You know what they say... Go yellow or go home. Or something.
