My Super Sweet Suave Party, Part Two

For the first installment of my Super Suave Party wrap-up, click here.

Continuing our look at the fabulous hair makeovers given to a few of my friends by Suave and local salon Trim, here's the fabulous Ashley Haugen, editor of Her Nashville Magazine...

Here she is before what she called her "hairapy..." cute, classy, and totally low-maintenance.

And here she is just minutes later. A spritz of water, a blow dryer, a round brush and some Suave hairspray and she looks fresh and fantastic, with a swingy hairstyle that has lots of body. I also think this hairstyle makes Ashley look younger, don't you?

Here's what Ashley had to say: "Gabrael showed me how to style my hair with a big curling brush (I always used the little ones) so that my hair will stay filled with body. She rolled it up and back, a technique I plan to try on Wednesday when I have to do a TV thing for the magazine."

Big round brush. Check.

Next up, Brandi Wilson, wife of local pastor Pete Wilson, whose own hairdo has made him a local style icon.

Could Brandi possibly hope to compete?

Oh. Yeah.

According to Brandi, "She blew my hair out from roots to ends... I usually just focus on the ends. She also sectioned it off and dried smaller sections then I'm normally used to. I couldn't believe how smooth it was afterwards."

For extra volume, I've started using Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Lifter spray. I just spray some on my roots right before I blow my hair dry and for a low-maintenance mom like me, it's an easy and inexpensive way to get some extra volume in my hair.

Part three of My Super Suave Party is coming up tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Disclosure: Suave paid for this party and provided gift bags for all attendants. Thanks, Suave! We all had a fabulous time!
