Spring Shoes: The Neutrals

One trend I'm liking a lot for Spring is the neutral shoe. Wearing shoes that match your skin is a classic way to look thinner, since the color blends with your skin and lengthens your frame. Neiman Marcus has a great page with designer takes on the trend-

Pretty pumps.

Cutout sandals.

And yes, the wedge is back!

Now that we have some ideas, let's find something more affordable!I love this linen sandal from Payless. It's just $19.99 and so cute, I just might have to buy myself a pair.

This slingback wedge, $58 from Victoria's Secret, has a casual kind of sex appeal and the polyurythane straps are very comfortable in my experience- They tend to mold themselves to your foot's shape.

These raffia peep toe sandals from Victoria's Secret are a great price for this trend- I'm seeing raffia shoes featured in all the high-end fashion magazines for about six times the price of these $65 shoes!

These cut out sandals from Zappos are killer- and on sale for $120.

These Jones New York pumps are a fraction of the cost of similar pairs, at $54.95.

I'm also liking this basic pair of neutral pumps, $49.95 at DSW.

And I'm dying a little over these lovely Nina pumps, which are knockoffs of Valentino shoes- $89 from Zappos.

These lovely Sigerson Morrison pumps are in my current favorite color combination of neutral/black and are on sale for $100, down from $425!

Finally, for those of you who prefer flats, I'm liking this ballerina flat from Jildor, $120.

And I love this shimmery, champagne-colored flat from Steve Madden, which is $69.95.

Happy shopping!
