Hot Trend: Polka Dots

Polka dots are back for Spring. It's a look I love, but I'd recommend buying just one or two polka dot pieces for the upcoming season- the look will be out again before you know it. Here are some wonderful options I've found.

I adore this dress by INC, on sale at Macys right now for $59.99. INC is one of my favorite brands- All of my pieces from the line hold up very, very well, which matters a lot to me since little jam fingers often wreak havoc on my "style."

This T Tahari ruffled silk tunic is also on sale at Macys for $64.99. Love the polka dot look here, either alone or under a black cardigan or jacket. This top also would carry over well to the workplace.

This top, currently on sale for $15.99 at Limited Express, may well end up being my homage to polka dots. I can just picture it under a light cardigan or blazer.

This Ann Taylor polka dot dress is getting a lot of play in fashion magazines right now, but I think it's way too pricey at $168. However, you could always keep an eye on the site and snatch it up when is having one of its many sales.

A slightly more reasonable (and more flattering, in my opinion) option is this Ralph Lauren dress, $134 at Bloomingdales.

Oh, snap! Check out this almost-identical dress at Kohls, available for just $49.99!

I have to admit, I'm loving this little Forever 21 number for a date night out. At just $27.80, my fingers are trembling for the credit card... Oh, and I just showed this picture to Hubs and he said, "Buy it." 'Nuff said.

I don't ordinarily go for one-shoulder dresses, but this silk shantung number is fabulous! It's also a great price: $64 from Spiegel.

Of course, the most budget-conscious way to add polka dots to your wardrobe is with an accessory, like this $29.50 scarf from The Limited. Paired with black, this scarf would look fantastic. Great price, too.

Finally, let's see how long this bag lasts. There are two available on Ebay as Buy It Now for just $39.98, both from Talbots, both new with tags. How can you possibly resist?

On your mark, get set, go!
