Skyniceland.com; $45This past February, when I was backstage at the Elise Overland show during New York Fashion week, I got a special treat from Skyn Iceland, in the form of its Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels.

The moment the moist pads, which are made with sea minerals, plus Olive Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil and Agar, were placed under my eyes, I felt such an instant surge of refreshment that gave a boost to my spirits -- even though I didn't have puffy eyes.

They are cool, not just moist, and totally refreshing. If there was a couch I would have curled up and gone to sleep, that's how divine it felt! And I knew instantly that should  too many cocktails with the girls make my face look less than stellar, this would be my immediate go-to for quick, under-eye relief. And a month later, it most certainly has lived up to its promise to "depuff delicate under-eye skin within 10 minutes."

At $45, it is a little on the pricey side, but so worth it for an instant, indulgent fix. However, if it's too much for your budget, cucumbers and a cup of chamomile tea will do just as well.
