Once a standard of the ‘80s, watercolor prints are super popular again for Spring. But how do you wear it without looking like you raided your Grandmother's house dress collection, circa 1985?
Rule #1: Don't Overdo It
Unless you're Rachel McAdams at the Oscars (see above) you don't want to go head to toe in blousy watercolor fabric. Instead, try a flowing top paired with skinny jeans.
Rule #2: Go Vintage
Show your local fashionistas (or baristas, depending on your social life) that you were there first by picking up a scarf from Etsy seller VezaVe ($21). For around twenty bucks you can be on top of the trend without breaking the bank.
Rule #3: Don't Forget What You Can Wear
If only dark colors look good on you, don't gravitate to the pale pink palette this season. If flowy tops accentuate the negative, go fitted. Remember, just because a trend is hot, if it doesn't look good on you it's a waste of your money and a self-esteem no-no.
