Man Punches 10-Year-Old in Movie Theatre for Being 'Too Rowdy'

movie theatre seatI get how frustrated Yong Hyun Kim must have been. The 31-year-old was in a Washington movie theatre trying to be all romantic, watching Titanic in 3-D with his girlfriend. Then the kids in front of him started acting like punks. Just how big of punks is in question, but he says they were yelling, throwing popcorn, and when he asked them to be quiet, they laughed at him.

I can only imagine how angry this made Kim; I would have been pissed too and wanted to do all sorts of things to their smug, rude little selves. The problem is that Kim actually did -- he punched one of the boys in the face. He hit him so hard that he knocked out one of the 10-year-old's teeth and left him with a bloody nose.

"I got so mad that it just happened," he told police.

Mallory Kievman/hiccup cureA teen has found the cure for a condition that affects every single person on the planet -- hiccups.

While my teenage babysitter's loftiest goal is being like Kim Kardashian, 13-year-old Mallory Kievman has invented a candy called "Hiccupops" that gets rid of the world's most annoying affliction. She came up with the recipe when she was plagued by the hiccups a few years ago.

little girl comforts dad

A little girl had to console her dejected dad after his soccer team tied in a professional match. He TIED not lost, mind you. Even so, Dutch soccer player Rogier Meijer was so distraught that he plopped down on the field and sulked. His daughter Saar -- wearing a jersey with her pop's number on it -- ran onto the pitch to try and cheer him up, sweetly putting her hand on his sunken shoulder.

Seriously, who's the grown up here?

My Children Have Blossomed -- Now It's My Garden's Turn

Posted by Aunt Becky

It's hard to believe that someone as clumsy and uncoordinated as me would be a gardener.

Especially considering that I once broke a toe making a sandwich and -- just this weekend -- nearly broke my dishwasher simply by running it. (No, not running INTO it)

But I love to garden.

It's my therapy. The one way I have to quiet my mind and meditate (I never could quite get the hang of sitting quietly and thinking of nothing - I always imagine the next zombie apocalypse or Barack Obama riding a unicorn).

This year? My garden is going to be better than ever.

High School Kid Becomes Instant Chick Magnet With Unique Cover of 'Sexy & I Know It' (VIDEO)

We're taught from a young age that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but all too often we make assumptions based on what people look like, whether we realize it or not. Then along comes an example like Noah Guthrie who smacks us with something so unexpected we remember that lesson.

Frankly, I almost didn't click when I first saw this video, because I've become a little tired of seeing everyone and their mother cover LMFAO's song "Sexy and I Know It," but boy am I glad I did. Guthrie's rendition wasn't what I was expecting at all, but it's AMAZING.

Kid's Amazing 'Shuffle' Makes LMFAO Look Lame (VIDEO)

shuffleSo I don't actually know all that much about shuffling, but apparently it's some kind of dance form and LMFAO did something to corrupt it. Or at least that's how some people feel. So it's like an old school vs. new school thing, from what I can tell.

Anyway, if the kid in this video is old school, I'm with those guys. Whatever he's doing is amazing -- amazing!!

Paula nd Jean Berloni
Paul and Belinda Berloni
There are all sorts of grandparents in this world. There are those who are hands-on and try to bask in every minute of their grandchildren's life, and there are those who like the occasional visit, but would rather spend their time on the golf course. Then there are those who let the good times roll at all costs when they're in charge, like Paul and Belinda Berloni.

The couple, who lives in Florida (of course), was watching their 7-year-old granddaughter this weekend, and having a grand old time. Slinging back cocktails of some kind, they got inspired to have a little fun. So they tied the girl's toy car to the back of their SUV -- with dog leashes, nonetheless -- then set out on a joy ride ... with her in it.

It gets worse.

There’s some good news about your teens and there's some bad. First, the good: Teens ages 13-15 exercise more than any other high-wealth nation in the world. The boys rank #1 and the girls rank #2. Yeah for the gym! The bad news: Teens are probably drunk and high while they work out. American teens rank #1 for pot smoking and #3 for binge drinking. Dude, where's my treadmill?

'Fat' Boy Uses Bullies' Taunts to Change His Life & Help Others

Portion Size Me There's no question that childhood obesity is a vast problem in this country, but when it comes to how to address it, all sorts of debate erupts. When Dara Lynn-Weiss wrote for Vogue about the diet she put her overweight daughter on, people were outraged, and anti-obesity efforts are often denounced as fat shaming. So the question remains: How do we help our children maintain a healthy weight? One boy, 12-year-old Marshall Reid, illustrates why maybe we should ask them.

Two years ago, when he was 10, a schoolmate told him, "You're fat." After years of teasing, that was the final push he needed to change his life and get healthy. He went home that day and told his mother of his plan.
