My 10-month-old daughter doesn't have much hair and everyone always thinks she's a boy. I can dress her up in the girliest, pinkest dress in the world and still, people come up to me and say, "What a cute boy!" "How old is he?" "What's his name?"
I usually never correct them because I figure it's no big deal, they're strangers who we'll never see again. But really, don't some outfits just say it all?
How about you? Do people ever mistake your baby daughter for a boy? Or your baby son for a girl? How do you usually respond?
