For all the baby mamas who wish they had the time and know-how to use cloth diapers, grow and make their own infant food, and other eco-friendly efforts that are good for baby and for the earth, the e-commerce site Sprout Baby is a nice alternative.
My tykes are out of diapers (wiping pretend sweat from forehead and miming "phew") but I would have totally liked to have tried the Nature BabyCare diapers, made with a special green technology and natural based so they break down a little better than conventional nappies. $12 for a 44 to 22 count box (depending on size).
Going green does cost more, that's a fact. So here's your chance to try these diapers, or organic baby food, or stainless steel bottles, or any number of earth friendly baby gear from Sprout Baby. Two moms can enter today for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate from the site.

Well it is too early to do anything really, I guess, so...I would have to say maybe I will try to make her food this time around..reuse baby jars..recycle more things.
I make my own organic baby food! My boys love it! :)
With all my skin issues getting worse, I have made the big push to going green/natural/organic for me and both my girls. For the baby, I have ben using Burt's Bees baby powder (no talc!) and her butt looks better already!
We use cloth diapers on our 7 mo old little girl Rylie, she is breast fed, i make her food and we use oraganic soap. in the long run, it saves us money and i feel good knowing that im trying to raise a healthy kiddo and doing my part for the environment . we recycle everything we possibly can as well, it makes you feel good inside.
Well I'm not green, I just wish I could be. I would love to be one of those moms that could make organic baby food! I really want my son to be healthier than I am.
I am due Dec 9th with our first baby. We are cloth diapering, breastfeeding, and I will make most of his food myself. I would love to try out those baby foods, they look so unique!
We recycle whenever possible! I would like to try the Nature BabyCare diapers!
I use cloth diapers and wipes for both my 2 yr old and 5 month old; I will be making my own baby food when the baby starts solids. I breastfeed and we recycle as much as possible.
Breastfeeding!
