The bathroom, a construction site ... CafeMoms have pumped breastmilk in some pretty unusual places. Even in the car!
According to Celebrity Babies, Modern Family actress Julie Bowen, 39, reports a pretty embarrassing breastfeeding blunder.
Stopped and forced to make a road detour, Julie — simply wanting to get home to her family — rolled down the window and asked a nearby police officer for help, oblivious to the fact that she was still connected to her pump.
As she tells it:
"I said, ‘Officer, what's going on?' and he starts walking over to the car. I realize I've got an air horn attached to my boob and all of a sudden [I said], ‘Oh, no! No, no, no, stay away, I'm fine, really, please don't come over to the car,' because I didn't want him to think I was drunk or something!"
Can you top that? What's your most awkward or embarrassing breastfeeding blunder?

LMAO!!!!!! Nope, I can't top that one. The worst I've had is the milk spraying everywhere because my son decided to pull off mid-suck because he heard something interesting.
Wow, I used to think I had some pretty good breastfeeding stories, but nothing quite like that. lol. Closest I can come is any one of the hundreds of times someone has said the word "nurse" and my son has spit his pacifier out and stuffed both his arms and his head down the front of my shirt.
DD was a newborn and I was meandering through target with a friend to pass the time (we both had newborns, single mommies, and needed OUT desperately). I had the blanket over DDs head, she was nursing, no problem. When she finished, I shifted her and the blanket, forgetting to pull up my shirt. My girl friend looked at me and started laughing, pulling my shirt up in the process. Apparently when I moved the baby, the blanket was covering NEXT to my breast, not the actual breast. It was early so noone was there, but I sure hope noone was watching us on security cameras!
I was getting my nails done for my wedding and it was taking a long time. Halfway through I felt myself fill up to a point of pain. I had to excuse myself to the bathroom to squeeze out for comfort. My best friend came with me curious about what I planned on doing. She ended up getting me to try to see how many different sprays I could get. I think I got up to about eight different spots all going in different directions. I made a big mess in the bathroom.
Another time was driving home. It was a four hour drive and I hadn't been with the baby all day. I had nothing to empty into except an old cup. I had to balance the cup between my legs while leaning over it a squeezing. My husband was laughing the whole time. I hope nobody in a passing car saw me.
