Whether it's Binky, Blankie, or Silky in your household, every child has a favorite blanket.
At age 25, I still have mine. It's tattered beyond recognition, but I still have it. I noticed baby blankets go by lots of different (and some very unique!) names around CafeMom.
Some other names I found were Cozy, Beddy, and Booboo.
Does your child have a favorite blanket they can't sleep without? What kind of shape is it currently in?

We generally call them blankie but my daughter pronounces it "wangtie". we're starting to say it too now.
Giga is blanket in Northern Arapaho (my husband's tribe) and that's what we call it.
My ds was never the clingy type...never showed to much intrest in his dolls OR his blanket. I, however, had a 'sheepy' growing up...
DS has a bear blankie that we call fuzzy
The binkie is "binkie". The blanket is "blanket". The sippy cup is always "MEEELK!"
Mine is "Yankie."
My kids don't have lovies (well, Aurora's too litle anyway).
we have "manky". i was calling it his lovie, and hubs said that was too girly. so he named it manky, it's a blanky for a man... :)
we would be lost without manky, and his bink
bubby. I always called it his blankie, but the first time he asked for it with a word, it was pointing and saying "bubby, BUBBY!!!!" Now we all call it that.

only Zak and he calls it baby because we saw a film and all you could see of the baby in it was a blanket so he's now taken to calling it that
