Jennifer Hudson, Oscar winner, American Idol sensation, and the first African-American singer to appear on the cover of Vogue (shown here), has given birth to a baby boy.
Hudson has had a tough year despite her professional successes. Her mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew were all murdered last October. Her sister's ex-husband has been charged with killing them.
We're so happy for Hudson. Her new bundle of joy David Daniel Otunga Jr. was born on August 10 and weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces. He was named after his dad and Hudson's fiance David Otunga a WWE wrestler.

I'm happy for her a baby is always a blessing. Well my DD was name mixing the name of my best friend and mine. My name is Nilyam and my best name is Mariela and I came up with Nilmary. My best friend's sister is also name the same. With my DS we choose to name him after our dads so Our dads name are both José so I translate that in English and came up with Joseph and because my DH second name is Antonio we put him Anthony. My son's full name is Joseph Anthony.
Nope, my 1st son does have daddy's name for his middle name. My hubby did not want a Jr.
We didn't want a Jr but, William is my husband's first name as well as his dad's and grandfather's, and great grandfather's. The first 3 are all William Harvey, my husband is William Bradley, and our son is William Caiden.

My son is a junior, Christopher Ryan. I like the name but didn't really want a junior. Too much confusion in my opinion. It meant a lot to hubby so I agreed. We call him Christopher and we use a nickname as well.
if my dd had been a boy i toyed witht he idea of naming it after him but at the time he was all "its not mine" so im glad she was a girl :D
if i was with him ever again (which i wont since him and his gf just had a kid) i would toy with ryan scott laufenberg JR but probly just go with ryan james or something, call him RJ for short.... but as u can see i put WAY too much time into thinking about this lol since it will NEVER happen....

No. My fiance wants if we have a boy to be a JR but I refuse. I told him that his first name can be the babies middle name. I want my child to have his own identity. I actually came up with a name and he has not said he does not like it yet. Usually when I say a name he says no but to this one he does not really say much. So I think he really likes it but does not want to admit it.
My son is named after his dad, but we used my DH's middle name as my son's first name....which also happens to be David, lol. So our son is David Isaac
