If you have a fussy, colicky baby that won't sleep, here's something that might help you out: the Miracle Blanket. It's supposed to soothe cranky babies in seconds—and get them to sleep faster and longer.
Sounds great doesn't it?
I'm not sure how this works or why it's different than any other swaddling blanket, but moms seem to really love it—cafemama says she swaddles her one-month-old son in it every night.
Take a look at the blanket in action:
Pretty cool, huh?
Other details: The blanket is made of a soft cotton knit, it comes in an assortment of colors (one size fits all), and it costs $29.95.
What do you think about the Miracle Blanket? Have you tried it? Will you try it?

my lo hates swaddling - he kicks all blankets off of him and is actually more fussy... so needless to say, not for us...

I am a infant massage specialist and Montessori teacher for 21 years. Please feel to check out my web Parentme.net. But, if your child colicky then you a technique called the water wheel. Over the babies belly with very mild presure with your hand side ways (almond oil) left hand first then the right take your hand just under the ribs move your hand down and then take your right hand and do the same. Do this about 8 times. Next step is to take your baby's legs and bring his or her knee's to the chest. Repeat these step about 4 times. The baby should relief himself.
I swaddled my babies but that thing looks like a straight jacket! No thanks!!!
Swaddling makes your baby feel snug and secure like in the womb. I was always terrified of swaddling with regular blankets because of the risk of them coming unwrapped and smothering my baby. That's why many hospitals are now using wearable blankets - they're just so much safer and easier to use. The hospitals are using the Halo SleepSack Swaddle product and I have to say, I love it. Now that my baby is older, we use the regular Halo SleepSack. He loves it and I do too because I don't have to worry about him smothering in loose blankets.
