As Juliet once said, "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

We had to make it fit into two different cultures so that both sets of parents would be able to say it correctly, and that DS could fit into two different societies easily. So we made a list of names that fit the criteria, that we liked and then waited for DS to be born so that we could see which name fit him best.
I don't know about offbeat names causeing deliquency. Ted Bundy? John Wayne Gacy? Hmmm... I suppose they weren't deliquent, just serial killers.
Adrianna Kristine
Adrian Christopher was my boy name.
I just liked the way it sounded.
We got Caleb from the Bible. He was one of the spies that Moses sent out. . He believed that God would help them win the battle & take over the promise land. . everyone else (other then Joshua) chickened out. In the end only Joshua & Caleb was allowed in the promised land. His named means bold & faithful. . which i love
Grant (his middle name) is after Ulysses. S. Grant, the Civil War general. I'm a Civil War buff & admired Grant & how he turned the tides of the war & won it for the North
Having an off-beat name does not cause delinquency! I call BS! So are they trying to say that my son might be destined for a life of failure and delinquency because his name is Jaeden?! Give me a break! The most unsual name I've ever heard was Barack! And guess what......that's the president's name! So take that scholars! Also Ted Bundy, Aileen Wuornos, and Charles Manson all sound like normal names and they all turned out to be serial killers!
Leonardo Alberto, because nobody else in the family is Leo. Being a part of the mexican clan, everybody is Juan, Maria, or Manuel. I have a cousin named Cindy too. Another cousin named Alma, like my mom. Another cousin Nelson, like my brother. It is awful trying to figure out who or which one your talking about. Alberto is my BIL name. My other sone is Diego Nelson. Nobody we know is named Diego and Nelson after my brother. I have to admit Titanic was big when my first son was born, and we saw Diego Luna on tv. . .when we picked names. . .
when we were deciding a name for our son we thought about the future alot. I wanted to give him a name that was strong but not overbearing for whatever field he decided to go with. We gave him an older name.... Braxton....and we used my maiden name (Campbell) as his middle name.
I can explain the meaning of the name if somebody wishes
