I can't get my baby to keep on a pair of socks never mind shoes. And now two moms from Seattle, Britta Bacon and Hayden Porter, have designed high heels for babies. The shoes, called Heelarious come in sizes 0-6 months, and according to Porter, are meant to be a joke. There are six styles to choose from, with more coming in December, including a product for boys (can't wait to see that).
So what do you think? Cute and fun? Or insulting and dumb?

I think they would make a great baby shower gift if you know the guest of honor is having a girl. I vote for cute... absolutely ridiculous --- but still cute.
I agree with Cafe Amy...fun for a shower gift, but ridiculous! I think they're the kinda thing that you should never actually use. I think I'd be kinda disgusted to see these on a baby!

I think they are adorable--I mean, obviously your baby doesn't wear them to walk around in!!! But they are cute--people just have to not take them so seriously!! (insert smile--not trying to argue!!!) I wouldve bought a pair if they were less expensive!
I agree with avasmommee very cute, it would be a fun gift but not for the price. We need to laugh a little more.

ok I vote cute and heelarious! I would totally buy a pair if they would fit my daughter.Great for a costume. They obviously aren't supposed to offend anyone. Plus think of all the other stupid things we put on our kids just because its cute... nail polish, earrings, bows. What makes this different. I love it!
