April is National Poetry Month so I thought we could celebrate by reading a little poetry about babies. I'm sure you've all heard (or read) this one before:

Monday's Child

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child must work for a living,
But the child that's born on the Sabbath day
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

My daughter was born on a Sunday and I have to say, this poem is dead on—she's always been a very happy baby, and of course, she's absolutely brilliant.

What day of the week was your baby born? Does the poem hold true for your child?
