Peekaru Fleece Baby Carrier Cover: Take it or Leave it?

Peek-a-boo, I see you! Okay, that tiny little face is absolutely adorable, but the whole get-up reminds me of the oh-so-popular (or at least well-known) Snuggie (which I thought was a joke from a Saturday Night Live skit).

Here's how it works: The Peekaru Original recycled fleece vest fits over any baby carrier and keeps your baby warm and cozy. It's actually kind of perfect for this between-season weather we've been having in the Northeast. It comes in different sizes and colors (blue, gray green, lavender, and black).

I would never buy it, but the one on the back doesn't look so bad. The one with the baby on the front is absolutely ridiculous though. JMO

I'm not a fan of this but only because I do not live in a cold climate that would warrant that kind of coverage.

It did snow once here this past winter and I just put a fleece wrap around me and baby while he was in the sling. Worked just as well and it didn't look as creepy.
