I'm all for saving the planet for the next generation, going green, everything eco, and all that. I'm also into style. Knowing this, a friend gave me the onesie shown here. I'm going to withhold my comments and let you all decide if you like it or not.
What it is: A certified organic cotton onesie with faux hairy armpits that says "Enjoying an Organic Lifestyle." It's from Wry Baby, known for its offbeat baby clothes—its slogan is "Raise funny people." The onesie comes in sizes 0 - 12 months. At $27, it's expensive, I know. But pretend it's free because I'm dying to hear what you think.
Mr. Cafe Suzanne thinks it's cute. If you do too, or you want to see other funny kids clothes that cost a lot, check out Wry Baby.
If you like it but don't want to pay that much, here's how to make your own:
1. Get a 4-pack of Gerber organic cotton onesies at Babies R Us for $9.99.
2. Buy a colored marker that works on fabric like Fabri-Mark, about .79 cents.
3. Write the slogan of your choice across chest.
4. Draw hairy things on armpit area (ask significant other to model for you if necessary).
5. Repeat 3 times if you desire four similar onesies or want to give them out as gifts.
If you don't like it, let's hear it.
Do you love it? Is it funny? Would you put it on your baby? Or would you leave it, burn it, return it?

This one just weirded me out.
Lol....There's gotta be a better way to showcase your beliefs via-baby. =)
Humorous, but I don't think I'd put it on my son. I just saw an organic onesie at Gap that I'll probably get for my son (next time I have a coupon!): Respect Your Mother (with a picture of the Earth). :)
I think it's funny, but since I have boys, it really wouldn't come across the way it's intended. But I'd put it on a baby girl.
I have an organic onesie that is green and has peas in a pod on it. I love it! But I'm not sure I would put that one on my son. Its cute, but not for me. lol
It's definitely amusing. I love some of the ones on their website like "I Can't Read" and of course, the "Super Snapsuits." Awesome.
By the way, "organic" and "Gerber" is a total oxymoron. Gerber is owned by Nestle, who is anything BUT good for the environment OR good for babies.
i don't find it humorous, i just find it gross lol!
No thanks!
I wouldn't let my baby leave the house in that even if it were under their clothes. I think it may be kind of offensive to people who are organic (kind of makes them look like they are dirty or don't groom themselves). Maybe I took it wrong, but that's what I got from it. By the way I am so not a serious person and even I didn't get the humor in it.
I agree--not funny--just really bizarre.
I think its kind of gross but then again I just shaved my body (except for my head) in the shower about 20 minutes ago. (I guess I don't get why not shaving your pits is considered organic?!!!)
