Are you keeping a baby book? You know, a book you fill with photos and momentos, and where you mark down things like your baby's monthly weight, or the first time he rolls over, sits up, sleeps through the night, etc. I received a few of them as gifts and I intended to keep one—really I did.
I saved some things from my baby shower and the hospital (like her "baby girl" tag), and I just know they're around here somewhere. I filled in some stuff here and there, but it's really spotty. I forgot
things I was sure I'd remember (and was going to mark down just as soon as I had a
chance) like the exact day she first smiled or the one when her first
tooth popped through. These are important things. How could I forget
them? I guess it's because she's changing so much, so fast. Still, I feel really guilty. I think I'll go try to work on her book right now. Or maybe I'll do it later.
Are you keeping a baby book? Is it all pretty and perfect? Or are you behind like me?

I am a little behind, but I try really hard to keep on top of it. My brother is 9 years old and doesn't even have one.lol. My mom was way too busy! My son's is up to date. But my daughter's is about a month or two behind.
the best way to keep up with the momentous moments is to just jot a note on the calendar when it happens............i wrote on my daily calendars in the boxes cute things the kids said or did..........and each baby had their own calendar that i just had to put stickers on like first steps or whatever the day of...........i was a very busy young mom and only have the baby book itself halfway done for my first child........i have the book with the stuff stuck between the pages for my second, and my third child there is not even a book just a shoe box with stuff in it..........but the calendars i kept until my youngest child was 2 years old and i could always make time to jot a note on it, so that was much easier to keep up with for me, then if you have time later you can go back from the calendar and fill in the baby book and nowadays all the pictures have dates on them so you can put the pics where they belong then too.........it is so cool now 20 years later to look back through those calendars and see the cute things that i wrote down that i would never remember otherwise!..........
my boys r up to date. i dont have and pics in there but i also scarpbook. so there is no need for pictures in them.
I'm behind on my son's book. I try and get it done but sometimes I just forget. I need to sit down and update it again.
LOL I don't have time!
not doing so good keeping up with my second. i did keep up with my first.
I am behind as of my child's birth. I have his scrap book and the items to make it. But I keep on putting it to the side, excuse after excuse. Soon, I promise soon. Before he turns two.. I so hope. How embarrassing
.
I never actually started her book, but I kinda did one online which has everything on it. So, it won't be hard to fill in her book.
