Over at Momversation, they're talking about which is harder: being a good wife or being a good mother. A recent study came out and showed that our mothers' generation spent more time and effort trying to be good wives, whereas our generation spends more of our time trying to be good moms.
The women at Momversation have different opinions as to which is harder.
One says it's easier to be a good mom because you know what you have to do: Love your baby and keep it alive. But what exactly does it mean to be a good wife?
Another says it's harder to be a good mom. Her baby cried for the first 7 months of her life. She says, "If you dated a guy who screamed throughout the date, you'd never go out with him again, and if he called you, you could call the police. But you can't do that with a crying baby."
For me, it's harder to be a good wife. I know the things I should be doing to be a good mom to my baby and I'm doing my best. I'm not always sure what my husband wants. And even if I do, that doesn't mean it's going to happen!
Do you think it's harder to be a good wife or a good mother?
