There is nothing more magical than the movie Frozen. We love the characters, the bond between Elsa and Anna, and heck, it's even our favorite Disney soundtrack to sing while we're in the shower! That is why a new photo series from photographer Karen Marie of Belly Beautiful Portraits has us itching to step back inside one of our favorite animated musicals with her adorable Frozen-themed newborn shoot.

Karen is a well-documented Disney lover. In the past, she's done some truly sweet photoshoots of newborns dressed like Disney Princesses that were extra magical.

But in this new project, Karen takes on a real challenge: the much-cherished Disney hit Frozen, which was pretty gutsy considering that the film has been so beloved. But Karen killed her photoshoot. Some of the models were so spot-on, we had to take a second look!

Working with Sew Trendy Accessories, who costumed Karen's pint-sized models, and Off My Hooks, who crafted the tiny felt characters that accompanied the models, Karen reimagined the movie for a fun and festive newborn shoot.

Speaking to CafeMom, Karen tells us that she was inspired to do the Frozen photos because of her personal "obsession" with the movie.-placeholder

"I am slightly obsessed with this movie," Karen says, and tells us that in particular she loves "the storyline and the music."

"After singing the songs over and over with my daughters and standing in line at the Disney store three hours before the mall opens to get an Elsa gown ... I think I’m slightly partial," she adds.

And you can see every ounce of love in these photos.

"I love the fact that Frozen is about facing your fears and embracing who you are!" she says. "It’s magical."

We love this little Anna, who is, of course, holding onto a tiny Olaf in her hand.

Karen cast the shoot through an open call and tells us that all of the babies "slept really well and were as sweet as can be!"-placeholder

The perfect Elsa! Karen tells us that Every Bit of Sunshine helped her create the amazing snowflake behind her tiny Elsa. Is it just us or did it get colder in here?

And Karen shares that this won't be the last of her Disney series.

"I just finished Mickey thoughout the years for Babble and Disney," Karen says. "Last weekend did the second one-year shoot featuring Tiana, Moana, Tangled, Pocahontas, Mulan and Elena."

"I have a few ideas coming up in the next year!" she added.

If there's one thing for sure, Karen certainly knows how to add a touch of whimsy to her photos. We can't wait to see what she does next!
