Breastfeeding in public can be a challenge, because not only do you have to deal with trying to find a place where both you and your little one are comfortable, but you also have to deal with the opinions of others. Despite what strangers think, nourishing your baby comes first, and more moms are finding the courage to ignore haters and nurse their babies wherever they damn well please -- instead of making their crying infants wait for a more "suitable" location. Jennifer Mancuso is one of these strong mamas, but what makes her different than many others is that she's not just raising breastfeeding awareness with one baby; she tandem breastfeeds in public -- uncovered -- for all to see and learn from.

Mancuso, a mom of twins girls from Ohio, is very open about her breastfeeding journey and inspires other nursing moms with candid posts on social media. Recently, when she was at the mall with 5-month-old Aria and Asher, this busy mom got hungry right around the same time as her girls. So she did what many would either be too timid to do or wouldn't think was physically possible: She sat down in the food court and all three of them ate, uncovered.

"It was beautiful. It is not every day that a single person can literally feed three mouths simultaneously," she wrote. "I don't cover my face to eat, and neither should they."

Mancuso didn't find a private room or a quiet corner. Instead, she sat in the middle of the crowded food court and served as a role model to the other women there. "Plenty of people around. Passersby smiled. Older women stopped, congratulated me, and thanked me for doing a great job for my babies," she wrote.

For those who are nervous about trying to breastfeed one or two in public, Mancuso hopes that her photo will give you the courage to stand your ground (and maybe grab a snack for yourself too!). "Feed your babies, no matter where you are. Nobody cares. It's natural. Don't (literally) sweat it," she wrote. "Your babies not being hungry is way more important than a stink eye from a stranger!"

Although she can balance nursing two hungry babies in a crowded food court while getting a meal for herself in too, Mancuso admits that she wasn't always the public breastfeeding pro. "With my first nursling I did not have the confidence to feed my baby in public and always wore a cover. I would go to the 'family room,' look for the 'breastfeeding box' they have located throughout the mall, or find an empty fitting room," she wrote. "With nurslings 3 & 4, I am not ashamed, I am not embarrassed. I do not cover and I feed them where I want, when I want."

Mancuso also hopes that even if people are prepared for the worst while breastfeeding in public, they shouldn't always expect the worst from strangers. "Do not be ashamed. Do not be afraid. Feed your baby where you want, when you want. People will praise you," she wrote. "Hold your head high, and your baby's."
