What's in a name? Well, for two adorable babies named Romeo and Juliet who just happened to be born in the same hospital, the answer is one hell of a story.

Two newborns made their grand entrance into the world just 18 hours apart. They were both delivered at Coastal Carolina Hospital in South Carolina, by the same doctor, and ended up being photographed by the same hospital newborn photographer. One is a little boy named Romeo. The other? A darling girl named Juliet.

Cassie Clayshulte, the babies' photographer, posted about the star-crossed pair on her Facebook page. "Sunday afternoon in Bluffton, South Carolina, at 2:06pm, Morgan and Edwin Hernandez welcomed their baby into the world and named him Romeo," she explained in her post. "18 hours and 8 minutes later, in the next room, Christiana and Allan Shifflett welcomed a baby girl and named her... that's right.....Juliet!"

Clayshulte says the couples didn't know each other prior to this adorable coincidence and just happened to pick out these perfectly matched names in advance of their babies' being born. "When I realized the babies' names were so special, I suggested getting a photo of them together," she told CafeMom. "We had no idea it would go this far!"

Since Clayshulte posted about the babies on Facebook, their photos have garnered over 3,000 likes. They're only a few days old and they're already almost as famous as Shakespeare himself!

Surprisingly, neither Romeo nor Juliet was named for the famous play. Romeo's mom, Morgan Hernandez, told ABC News her son is named after Romeo Santos, a singer she and her husband both love.

Juliet's mom, Christiana Shifflett, told ABC News, "We wanted a 'J' name to go with our son's name, Jonas. We picked Juliet because we were watching the TV show Psych and the character's name is Jules."

I guess, much like the original Romeo and Juliet, this adorable pairing was brought together by fate. Thankfully, this story has zero feuding families and a much happier ending. Both sets of parents already confirmed to ABC News that they're planning a Shakespeare-themed photoshoot when it's time to celebrate the babies' first birthdays. Something tells us these modern versions of Romeo and Juliet are going to end up being lifelong friends.
