This is my baby's winter hat. Her uncle got it for her in Peru and I love it. Last week, the hat went missing and I couldn't find it for days. I was so upset, I was considering getting a ticket to Lima. Fortunately the hat turned up. But I have to be realistic. I'll lose it again. My baby does not like keeping it on her head and takes it off at every opportunity. So I've been on the lookout for other cute hats just in case. And I found some really great ones.

lilSugar has a slideshow, Supersize This: Cool Hats for Cold Weather, with a lot of cute options, like those shown at left.
Wee Baby has hats (below, right) that are perfect for keeping newborns warm and snug on cold winter days. Unlike other hats, which are often too big for newborns heads, these are designed to fit. They come sets of three.
Of course, if you're good at knitting like the Knit & Crochet Moms, you can knit your own cute baby hat. And while you're at it, why not knit a hat that can save a child's life? You can learn how in my post "Gwyneth Paltrow Knit This Adorable Hat."

I love the old fashion knit ones!
My favorite hat is a little thing I found on clearance at Baby Gap that everyone seems to love! It's leathery-type fabric on the outside with a furry, wooly substance in the inside. It has ear flaps, a chin starp, and two little bear ears on top. Bobby is beyond cute when he wears it! I'm trying to find an adult version (probably without the ears!) for my Dad for Christmas, as he is very jealous of his namesake hat!
I think either of the above options are adorable, too!
Every year I get my kids a set of fleece hat and mittens from Old Navy. They are super cute and very practical, they have ear flaps and chin straps, so they stay on and keep little heads warm!
i bought a really cute hat at Target. its just your basic knit hat with a poofball on top. but it has earflaps! my DD loves it...i least i think she does cause she never pulls it off
I like the ones with the ear flaps.
My grandmother in law knitted one for my oldest- I am now using it on my baby. I absolutely love it!
we have three, and the one i like the most is fleece with snowflakes on it.
