Storage is always a must, and this unit can handle both toys and necessities. The chalkboard wall-art hanging above is so unique and such a sweet personal touch.

These different state prints have special meaning, I'm sure. It's the perfect way to grace the walls above little Olive's crib

Big corner windows allow for plenty of natural light, making this sunny corner an ideal place for quality time spent together.

Have you noticed the vibrant wall installation? They got it for free when they noticed their local J.Crew store taking down a window display, then re-installed it in the corner of their baby's room. What a lucky find -- and a creative way to use it!

A gorgeous dresser serves a dual function as a changing table, with more travel-themed mementos and wall-art hanging above.

Such fun pops of color and thoughtful details in this delightful nursery!

I'm curious to know if you've ever attempted to infuse any of your hobbies when decorating your children's rooms. How did it go? Let's discuss in the comments below!

All the "unique" baby/toddler rooms you bloggers show are boring and look almost exactly the same

My bf and I love the ocean and diving as well as star gazing. The room is done in periwinkle, pale blues, and aqua colors, with sea creatures scattered around, and there is also a wall with stars and a moon light on it. It came out so much better than I imagined. I have the same cubbies that are shown in the article but one in aqua and the other in fuchsia. They are fantastic.
