Tiny Rachel Zoe Welcomes a Surprisingly Big Baby

Awww! 10

rachel zoeCeleb stylist and designer Rachel Zoe welcomed her second child on Sunday with husband, Rodger Berman, and super adorable son, Skyler. Mom is said to be doing great, and although she didn't confirm her pregnancy until pretty much one minute before she gave birth since she didn't have to -- the woman was so tiny! -- Zoe's second babe was surprisingly big for a woman her size. How'd she hide her bump all along?!

Zoe revealed the baby's gender and weight in a sweet tweet:

Sure, 7 pounds, 12 ounces isn't considered big to many (my daughter weighed more), but for a woman who was essentially able to hide her pregnancy for nine months -- that's impressive!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well and can't wait to hear the name. But mainly I'm just excited to see Baby Berman's first outfit. Spit up-crusted Givenchy? Poop-stained All Saints? Whatever it is, I'm sure it's nicer than what I'm wearing right now. Congrats to the beautiful family!

How much did your babe weigh?

Thin does not necessarily mean unhealthy. Why is this surprising? Are you surprised she took care of her baby?

oh yay another boy she can cross dress and pretend is a girl!

My preemie was 7lbs. 12oz! If she had stayed in the additional month like she was supposed to she would have been huge. My two full term boys were 8lbs 14oz and 8lbs even. Rachel had a healthy sized newborn and even though I just have a general idea of who she is, congrats to the whole family.

Ridiculous... the size of the mother does not predetermine the size of the baby...  anyway, congrats to Rachel & her family!

@Shuturpiehole, lol! I agree 100%. I have boys, they dress, look & act like boys.

I'm 5'4 and 125 pre pregnancy. My babies were 8.7 (2) and 9.1

@shuturpiehole and @HunnybearSG  ... she doesn't cross-dress him. I have never once seen him in a dress. Only jackets and pants. Do you mean because his hair is not buzzed off? He looks 100% a boy to me, not that it matters. She can dress him however she wants.  Her son has gorgeous hair and she celebrates that.

My son was 5 lbs 3 oz and born at 35 weeks. I only weighed 98 pounds when I delivered (I'm 5'5'')

She had a surrogate carry and deliver both healthy babies.

7lbs 12oz is big....let's try 10lbs 4oz at 37weeks. I'm sure there are even bigger and earlier born babies than this to smaller women.
