A White Nursery With Surprising Touches (PHOTOS)

What is it about these stylish Scandinavian nurseries? There must be something fabulous in the water over there because I  find myself drawn to every single one I see! Mom, Kristen, put this one together for her little girl and it's easy to spot her graphic design background at play in this space.

That oversized print on the wall is very unique and not your typical nursery fare. However, the small chair, ride-on toy and other childish touches are definitely meant for the toddler crowd.

This sunny yellow dresser really serves as a bold focal point in the room in contrast to the white walls and floors.

Favorite books are displayed on a few handy rails and that darling bunting coordinates so well with the design on the quilt.

Often it's the tiny details that really bring some personality to the space, like these miniature paper dolls for example. So cute!

I know Scandinavian design can sometimes seem a little bare, but I think this room really balances its graphic and modern elements without feeling cold or impersonal. Plus, I love that this particular space isn't necessarily gender specific and could easily be tweaked to go either way.

Are white walls your sort of style, or do you prefer things to be a bit warmer? Don't be afraid to share in the comments below!
