Jamie-Lynn Sigler, of Sopranos fame, has been a mom for just two months to little Beau Kyle Dykstra — but it sounds like it's been an eye-opening experience.
In the most recent issue of Us Weekly we find out that it took 36 hours of labor for Sigler to finally give birth to little Beau, and that he weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces. We also get to hear her thoughts on motherhood ... which so many new moms will be able to relate to. Her comments will easily remind parents how they felt when their kids were first born. How once you have a child, that child changes your view on almost everything else that comes your way.
Two months is a long time in the life of a newborn — where baby relies on mom and dad for everything. So hearing Jamie-Lynn say how it's affected her life — and then seeing the sweet photo of her, Beau, fiance Cutter Dykstra, and their pup — it really paints such a wonderful picture of her family.
Sigler exclusively told Us Weekly:
I get how they say you will never know what love is until you have a child. It's such an overwhelming feeling of responsibility, of love, of fear, of everything.
Ha! That "fear of everything" line struck a chord ... because I think that is the one emotion new parents don't anticipate.
But just look at this picture! So adorable. And what a little munchkin he is — with (what looks like from this picture) some seriously bright blue eyes inherited from his pop!
Did having a child change the way you looked at the world?
