Beyonce's Vacation Pics With Blue Ivy Couldn't Be Less Realistic (PHOTO)

beyonce blue ivyHey, remember that time you went on vacation with your baby and you were so relaxed? You just walked around, looking stylish in your resort-wear, cuddling with your little one, who also looked stylish in her resort-wear? You don't? Oh, that's probably because it never happened. When you went on your vacation with your child, you probably spent a lot of time running after them (AKA, not lounging on the beach), changing dirty diapers, applying greasy-ass sunscreen, and looking for restaurants you know you and your family won't be thrown out of for being messy and noisy. So, Beyonce, although the pics you posted to your Tumblr of you and Blue Ivy are drop dead gorgeous, who are you kidding?

Now, before anyone tries to call me a Beyonce hater, let me just say this to you: Incorrect. Beyonce is a queen and I'm fully aware of that. I love everything the singer, her husband, and their ridiculously adorable child do. They're perfection, and I know it. But these pics are for the birds. Moms don't relax with their kids like this on vacay. In fact, isn't it pretty common knowledge that the days of relaxing on vacation (or anywhere, really) are over once you have a baby? It was in my hospital packet after I gave birth.

I'm guessing Beyonce had a barrage of people on hand to do her hair and makeup and place her super cute floral headband on just so on this trip. I'm also guessing she had a person or two around to help keep up with little Blue. Because when you have a child around that age, you don't look as well-rested and relaxed as Beyonce.

The pics of you and Blue couldn't be sweeter, Bey, and please, keep 'em coming. But don't be fooled, mamas out there. This isn't exactly an accurate depiction of motherhood.

Do you relax while on vacation with your little ones?

To be fair, her vacation probably WAS relaxing, as she most likely had, at least 1 nanny with her and her husband to help take care of B.I.C

Oh, the lifestyles of the rich & the famous. :)

why can't mother's have a REAL picture like this? Yes, "relaxing" on a vacay may seem inevitable when having kids, but Ive had a few relaxing pictures like this and I have 3 boys. So to say that this is a "less realistic" picture is kind of out of your boundary.

I completely agree with you. Vacations for me are like a nightmare come true.between all the packing, trying to keep the little angels from drowning or being hit by a car, and stop them from breaking stuff in the condo, it's worse than home. That being said, I agree with the above comment that it probably was relaxing for her with actual paid help. We'd probably take more vacations if that were an option, but sadly it is not.

I thought I WAS looking at pictures of me and one of my kids! They are so similar to my vacay pix...except you swap Bey out for me (pale white whaleish figure) and my adorable daughter (with a fistful of my hair and a fistful sand ready to rub in my face) All in all pretty close....

I'm sorry, but I beg to differ. We have a super, duper easy 7 month old and going out with her is a breeze. For example we recently went on a day trip with her to the beach (2 hrs away) and when we got there, we realized our stroller had a flat. No worries! She took her two naps on a beach towel in the sun (we covered her head/face with her sun hat). When she was awake, she would play with her toys while we lounged around. She even went into the water with us, and sat with us in the restaraunt (we never have a problem taking her out to eat.)

In short, some people just have ridiculously easy kiddos. And on top of that, I'm sure they had at least one nanny.

She obviously is not going to post pics of the child throwing a temper tantrum. Who would?

ty Lo428, it's the relaxing moments people prefer to take pics of. and when i had my first child he was chilled at that age and loved relaxing and cuddling so it's not strange, not everyone has buckwild kids.  my second and third one are different stories but remember this is her first and she's not alone since someone took the pic so she probably has a little more room to glam up and get a break so she doesn't look like a hot mess. btw we don't if she had just gotten there or theyve been there a while - plz find something interesting to talk about instead of asking a foolish question like ' who do you think you're fooling'.

Should I be worried? My dog is named Blue.... :/ They trade marked their kids name didn't they?

Actually, vacations with my kids are that relaxing. The key is having realistic expectations, and having well-behaved children. If you get stressed out and can't enjoy your kids company in a restaurant, you should probably re-evaluate your parenting methods.
