Tori Spelling Stranded With Her 4 Kids on Worst Ever Road Trip

by Adriana Velez on February 8, 2013 at 2:02 PM

tori strandedWell here's something I never thought I'd see Tori Spelling do. The mom of four just posted a selfie, but she doesn't exactly look thrilled. Tori's posing with her kids stranded on the side of a road. The caption reads: "4 kids. 1 dog. 1 car leaking gas broken down on the side of the road= not a great road trip."

Ohhh, Tori. That sucks. Stranded with four kids would be rough. But if one of those kids is a baby? Dude. That's a major pain. I think a lot of us have been there!

Okay, a little perspective. This is Tori Spelling we're talking about, so she was probably inconvenienced long enough to post this photo and then someone got her the hell out of there. Well, anyway, I hope so. Um, where's Dean, anyway? I would really hate to be on the receiving end of Tori's scowl, and if it's directed at Dean, he'd better have some flowers handy.

Tori Spelling death stare: Shudder.

But I think there's a special kind of hell when you're stranded with a baby. The older kids can amuse themselves despite the whining. But a baby needs to be fed (where? how?) and needs to be changed (where? how?). And I just always felt more vulnerable in general when I had a baby than I did when my son was older.

Hopefully they're traveling with plenty of snacks. And I guess she can change Finn's diaper in the back seat, though with the leaking gas, that might be a little dangerous and definitely fumey. Stars: Shit happens to them just like it does to us! Hope they all got help quickly.

Have you ever been stranded on the road with a baby?

I ran out of gas 2 times in one week when I was alone with my infant daughter. Both times were on the highway! I was freaking out. We had just bought a new car and didn't know that the gas gauge was broken. Thankfully, my sister was close by once and my MIL was the other time.

Uh being stranded with older kids is way worse than being stranded with a baby. The whining, crying and boredom that older kids go through is way more annoying than a baby who may or may not need to eat and could generally be entertained by a jingle of the car keys.

It's those older one you have to worry about.

My worst case stranded scenario was having our preschool bus breakdown on the freeway... A bus filled with 42 2-4 year olds, 4 staff, 2 mom's, both with babies for over three hours on a bus with no bathroom on a hot summer day.  Fortunately, we did have snacks and extra water, but it was a nightmare.

I think it's much harder to be stuck with preschoolers than with a baby, especially if they are recently"potty trained". What to feed a baby, and where? Breastfed, and wherever he/she is hungry. How to change a baby? Well, most people bring a diaper bag along... So again, wherever and whenever he/she needs it.

So who took the pic if it's just her and her kiddos? It sucks to be her no doubt but I'm sure she has AAA.

It is much worse to be stuck with preschoolers and a 10 year old and on top of it not having any money for gas or what ever. Last year my starter was going out. The battery would go dead at random places when i was out with my kids and of course the cell phone battery has to be giong dead too. Asking strangers every where for a jump embarassing and dangerous. Tori has more than enough money to have her car maintained in the first place. And have help in the drop of a hat.

I don't particularly care for Tori and the way she went abt stealing someone's man, but I love the fact that she seems down to earth and is simple looking. She's not all drop dead gorgeous and yet she has a handsome hubby and successful career in entertainment which gives me hope for myself.
