Nothing can quite prepare you for the uncomfortable feeling of sore (or, ugh, cracked) nipples. It's one of, if not the, hardest parts about nursing. Dear god, can it kill. But there are things that help -- things that can help that are natural for your precious little baby.

Coconut Oil

This was the first thing my doula suggested to me -- coconut oil. I can't say that it completely eliminated any and all pain, as, well, nothing really does, but it certainly helped.
