OMG. You know when you see something and say, "Wow. You just can't make this stuff up"? Yeah, this is one of those times.

Watching a baby take his or her first steps is one of the most exciting moments in a parent's life, and naturally, most of us do our best to capture the milestone on video if at all possible.

But one mom has a whole other reason besides capturing the moment on film to remind her of the very first time her daughter walked, because immediately after she took her first steps, the dog pooped on the floor, and the baby fell into the poop.

No, I'm not kidding. And no, there's really no other polite way of describing what went down. Take a look.

 

OMG!!! Are you literally rolling on the floor laughing? (Preferably not in your pet's excrement.)

Out of all the possible scenarios to follow your baby finally walking -- somehow I'm guessing falling directly into dog poop never crossed this mom's mind.

I can still remember vividly the day my own son first walked. It was in our current house, in our playroom -- and even though he only took two or three steps towards me before toppling over, the look of pride and contentment on his face is one I'll never forget as long as I live.

And if he'd wound up with dog poop stuck to his clothes directly afterward? I'd like to think I would've laughed it off the same way this little girl's mom did. After all, having a good sense of humor is pretty much essential when it comes to parenthood anyway, right?
