Is Your Baby's Formula Safe?

I put together alot of information regarding this over the holiday weekend, see it in this journal:

You may not agree with my thoughts, but I present the data to every mom who wishes to read it and make their own INFORMED decision regarding the food.

From what I understand, the Chinese were intentionally putting this into their formula to make it appear healthier than it was (Was it protein?  It fooled tests into thinking it had more), whereas here it's just in products used to clean the machines and traces are getting into the food.

It's not really a problem for me, as I'm breastfeeding...but I have an entire shelf of Enfamil Lipil samples on standby, should I ever have an emergency and need to use formula...that makes me a little nervous!

China is trying to kill are kids next it is going to be us im just glad that my daughter is off of formula! I think the US should stop haveing china make everything for us because 1st it was the milk in china then the candy now this whats next? =[ It is so upsetting to see i cant stand it anymore!

OK OK SO IM NOW freaking out my daughter is 4mns. I couldn't breatfeed her for medical reasons she drinks good start soy formula... what I am I suppose to do  now?

I agree with dimples367 what am I supost to do I have a 4 month old son and he takes Enfamil What can I feed him now if I can't feed him that...Am I just going to give him the regular 2% milk or is there something better for me to use I need to know fast like right now because I am not going to give my son that formula if it might hurt him.  Please let me know.

I would suggest you two switch to no-name local (as in Canadian or USA produced formula) stay away from Nestle products and Enfamil products, they can't be trusted. And wrote a letter to the Minister of Health outlining your disappointment and DEMAND testing before this stuff ends up on shelves! Store brand formula is just as good, with the same nutrients and since they don;t bank on big sales----why would they mass produce, and be careless about safety like the big guys? That's what I would do anyway, I don't trust big name markets----geeeze, this is truly sad :'(
