The time of year parents, both current and expectant, have been waiting for has finally arrived. Pottery Barn has put out their annual Baby Name list. Rejoice (to Jesus)! Oh, you didn't know the makers of all things terry cloth and teak were in the business of baby naming? Well, leaf through your Pottery Barn Kids holiday catalog, friend. It's nothing if not a wealth of monogrammed goodness. Stockings, robes, pillows, rocking chairs, blankets, bibs, wipes -- who wouldn't want their child's name on every single thing they own? Especially when it's one of these names.
Pour yourself a Gibson; turn on some Madeski Martin and Wood (live album); and soak in the 2012 Pottery Barn Baby Name list.
And, while we're at it, here's to a white Christmas, comrade! (You celebrate Christmas, right? If you don't, that's totally okay. We knew someone at Vanderbilt who didn't either. Well, we didn't know him, but a friend did.)
- Sweater Vest
- Geoff (their embroidery machines don't have the ability to stitch "Jeff")
- Blue (as in the color the vial turns after getting blood taken)
- Tay (short for Taylor)
- Whitey McWhiterson
And there you have it! All the baby names you could ask for -- and places to monogram them to boot. Thanks, Pottery Barn!
How did you come up with your baby name(s)?
