"We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter ..." the blissed Barrymore and hubby Will Kopelman said in a statement to Us Weekly, "... [b]orn September 26th, healthy, happy, and welcomed by the whole family."

In the grand tradition of Hollywood moms naming their kids after foods, the star followed suit.

Drumroll please! The newest celeb baby is ... Olive! Cute, isn't it. The little bundle is certainly in good company. We ooohh'd and aaaww'd when Gwyneth Paltrow introduced us to Apple and Courteney Cox revealed Coco.

Barrymore is certainly over-the-moon. Sources say it's something she's wanted for a very long time. Once a famous wild child, the Grey Gardens actress is "ready to settle down and be a mom," an insider told Us months before the baby's arrival. Indeed she has.

She wed Kopelman on June 2 at her Montecito, California estate and has been in baby prep mode since. And it doesn't look like the pair will stop at Olive. "We'll start with one," she told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. "See how it goes and if we could be so blessed ... that would be wonderful."
