Co-Sleeping Mom Admits to Having Sex With Baby In Bed (VIDEO)

sex while cosleeping As a co-sleeping, baby-wearing, breastfeeding kind of mama, I love discussing everything involving natural parenting topics. And you know what else is natural? Sex with your husband. After having a baby and getting the all-clear from the doctor that your body is ready to resume the nookie, many of us cannot wait to get frisky.

On Coffee Shop Confessions, one mom admitted that she and her husband had sex with their 8-week-old baby right there in the bed with them, making the panel cringe. But it seems that the mom confessing was also cringing at what she had done. Let's roll the videotape ....

Now as I said, I'm a co-sleeping mom, but when it comes to having sex, my husband and I do not get it on with a kid in the bed. And this doesn't mean we don't have sex. We just don't have sex in the bed. There isn't some rule where doing the naughty can only take place between the sheets, right? Why not try the couch, the shower, or the kitchen table?

If you're a parent who has done the deed with baby right there in the bed with you, then that's cool. Whatever works for your family. The baby here is just 8-weeks old and I'm sure mom and dad were super quiet. But did you notice how mama felt really uncomfortable with it all? To me, that means she should take the sex to another room. Or even the floor in the same room. Heck, why not just do it standing up against the wall. That would be hot.

For the mamas who do schtup their husbands with baby in bed, I have to admit that I'm a tad jealous. Your baby must be the best sleeper ever.

You all act like for the thousands of years humans have been on this earth that we have all had seperate beds and bedrooms. So you are right every single geneation before who saw their parents getting it on, are all screwed up. Wrong! All around the world familys live closly together and OMG, they have sex! And their kids are fine. Americans are sick! Only in a country where you can have your boobs and ass hanging out for the world to see but you shouldn't show those boobs to nurse your baby. Backwards thinking and simple minded.

Doesn't anyone have a problem with the headline for this article? It makes it sound like the mom was having sex with the baby.

At 8-months old, what difference does it make? It's a decision for the parents. Back in the day, entire families slept in one room.

Well my husband and I haven't had sex with our baby in bed with us, but we have many times with him in the room. I feel like it is up to you what is best for you and for your children, unless the child is up in age. Who is anyone else to judge?

I can't help but laugh at some of the comments about scarring the child. Even if a child could remember, chances are this isn't porno sex happening here with sweaty naked bodies flailing around. Come on, folks. This is a married couple with a child. It was likely done under a blanket, with little noises and smooth movements. It's fine. No one is going to be scarred by that.

Wow. I must be out of sync with current parenting styles. As much as I enjoy intimacy with my spouse, Im not comfortable with having sex with the baby in the bed. Snuggling, holding ...yes. Sex...no. Sex isnt more important than my babe. I can wait til a more appropriate venue. Those stolen moments are fun.

Let's keep in mind folks that we are discussing having sex with your s/o with an infant in the bed. We are not talking about older kids or toddlers. And frankly, it is nobody's place or business to judge another person on their beliefs or doings. Just because it isn't something you would do, doesn't make it this "terrible crime" against the child if someone does. And is it really much different than having your baby in their own bed just a few feet away from your own? Your baby was nestled between you and you s/o for 9 months while you did the dirty. And she/he heard every part of it then. Just sayin.

What? Is this lady for real? Why is this news worthy?? Of course, my wife and I have had sex when our baby was in the bed. What does an 8 week old baby know?? You better enjoy your husband as much as you can.

If my parents told me that they had sex while I was in the bed with them as an infant, I wouldn't care. Why would anyone be bothered by this? I co-sleep and sometimes I'm in the mood for intimacy with my husband, but don't have the energy to move to a different area if the house. Also, I have older children who possibly would be uncomfortable walking in on something like that, while the baby is in dreamland. We bathe together, she nurses on my breasts, and I change my clothes in front of her. If she woke up she wouldn't suddenly be scarred by seeing our heads poking out of the covers next to her. Some social taboos are so weird, especially when there is no logic behind them. Like someone else said, it's not like you are staring at your baby while it's happening. What's the difference of them being a few feet away in the bed or a few feet away in a bassinet. As long as the baby being there isn't 'adding' to the experience for either of you, there is zero creepiness to it.

Echoing what Ikette said, few people had houses with separate rooms until about the 18th century, and even today, at least a billion people share a sleeping room with multiple generations. The idea that you can have privacy for sex is a new thing, unique to the West. I once read an article about a slum in Mumbai, India. A family of I think 8 or 10 slept in one room. The family included three married couples (parents and two married sons.) Having sex in front of each other is just a part of life. In human history most people had to have sex in front of relations.
