If you have $1.29 to spare, I have a great investment for you. It's an investment in 1-year-old Noah's life, an investment in his health, and his future. On July 15, the infant was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, and a few days after that, Noah's dad Mike Massé posted a video on YouTube. A professional musician from Salt Lake City, Massé gives a quick message about Noah's condition, then launches into a gorgeous version of the Beatles' classic, "Let It Be."
The idea is that people can purchase the song through Massé's record label or via iTunes, and all the proceeds will go to paying for Noah's medical bills. If ever there was a reason to buy a song or just make a donation, this is it.
According to Massé's YouTube channel, the song has soared to number 1 on the iTunes chart in Holland, and he's certainly gotten some very deserved press for this fundraising efforts.
Watch the video, then buy the song. Keep in mind that iTunes takes 30 percent of each sale, so maybe purchasing from Massé's website is the best way to make sure Noah gets the maximum amount of help.
You can make a donation and receive a download of the song on the Let It Be for Noah fundraising site.
What a wonderful idea, a wonderful father, and a wonderful baby boy. Here's hoping to his bright, bright future. As it turns out, things are looking up. Noah's had his first round of chemo and is laughing and smiling and babbling up a storm.
Love the song? Did you donate?
