Last week, I wrote a post on 50 reasons not to have a baby. Truth be told, I wrote it for myself just as much as anyone else because I suffer constant baby fever and it's always nice to be reminded of the hard stuff. To even things out, (and prove that I do actually enjoy parts of this gig), I thought it would be nice to list 50 reasons for having a baby. Well, 50 reasons for you to have a baby. I'm done.

I love this!
Calm down. It was meant to be funny.
Obviously you had an easy vaginal birth with lots of loving, caring family and friends nearby. Yes, I'm butthurt. =P I wish this would have gotten me excited and made me want to have another so my daughter (41/2 years) wouldn't be an only child, I just feel too scared to go through all of that again. I haven't even been motivated to find out why I lost my period 3 years ago. =/
Michelle- having children is a very personal decision, and I would never try to convince anyone to do so if it's not what they want. But I do havee to say that once you have children you see the beauty far more than the challenge. In fact things you thought would be challenging actually become beautiful, like waking up at 3am. .getting up is hard but looking down at two little sleepy eyes that glitter when they see you and flutter happily to sleep as the nustle into your arms actually makes up for it. And things you thought were gross about other people's kids actually become amazing when it's your own. Heck, I had no idea I would actually LIKE the smell of newborn breastmilk poop, but I do!!
I loved this list. I personally disliked the epidurral and didn't have one with my second, but I totally understand why women get it.
I love being a mommy even if they drive me crazy sometimes. I adore them and those two little people are my life :-)
