singing babyWhat's better than a baby who sings himself to sleep? How about a baby who sings himself to sleep accompanied by his dad's acoustic guitar rendition of "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica? (Now that's what I call a lullaby!) There's nothing I don't love about this kid. A baby who sings himself to sleep?! That's just ... genius.

Also, I applaud his shirtless dad's innovative application of heavy metal as a parenting aid. Much more original than, say, blasting "Iron Man" really really loudly in the car when your kids won't stop bickering in the back seat. Not that I've ever done something like that. Has he lost his mind? Can he see or is he blind? Da-na-na-na-na ... um, anyway.

The whole thing is just too cute. Granted, it takes the little guy a few verses before he nods off, but compared to the traditional wearing-out-the-floorboards method of walking/bouncing a cranky infant at bedtime, this looks like a breeze:

Am I right? This baby rocks. (He rocks hard!)
