Dad Tries to Tie Baby Sling & Makes Fool of Himself (VIDEO)

Do you let your man wear your baby? Wait a minute, let me rephrase that. Do you trust your man to safely wrap up your baby & wear him in a sling?
If your answer is something like, "Yes, of course!", you may change your mind after seeing this new episode of Mom vs. Man on Cafemom Studios. Host Lauren O'Quinn found a dad at the farmer's market who was up for the challenge of trying to successfully wrap up a baby in a sling in 60 seconds or less. He was promised a free drink if he could master the task -- and his attempt was nothing short of hilarious.

Don't worry -- he practiced wrapping a watermelon instead of an actual baby. To see how he did, take a look at the video below.
OMG!! How many times did he drop that watermelon baby? And how about when the thing split it two and started oozing juice?! I don't even want to think about how this guy would've fared with a real baby. And honestly, I think we're all better off not seeing him try.
Does your man know how to wrap up your baby without dropping him?

Tying a baby sling take skills, you should have at least let him look at a manual or diagram to make it fair. Gods know, no mama ever just tries to tie a sling with her baby in it, she stops and figures it out first. Meanwhile, this is why I stick to sling wraps, not ties. Easier on me and my back.

This has NOTHING to do with him being a man. It's still funny, tho.

We used the "backpack" style ones that could be worn front or back.
Its not like it makes you a bad parent to not be able to tie those crazy things.

My husband and I studied the manual and youtube tutorials for a while before using our Moby.

My dh wears our kids all the time. He was a pro at wrapping our kids about a week after we got our moby.

I agree with the fact that NO ONE can wrap these without direction... I also think she should be wearing her doll facing inward. There is a lot of information on outward facing (crotch dangling) hip displasia in infants.
