Get ready to check your medicine cabinets, parents, we've got another Tylenol recall on our hands. McNeil Consumer Healthcare is pulling infants' Tylenol off the shelves. This brings the number of medicines yanked from stores by the company to at least 25 (at last count) in just the past three years.
But before you panic, parents, here's what you really need to know to keep your kids safe and/or get a refund from the company.
1. This recall only covers Infants’ TYLENOL® Oral Suspension Liquid, none of the other medicines marketed to kids.
2. The medicine itself is not tainted. The problem is the redesigned bottles, which ironically were introduced three months ago to HELP parents with measuring out how much medicine their kids need. SimpleMeasure has apparently been confusing parents instead of helping them. There's a risk of kids getting the wrong dose.
3.The recalled medicine has the following lot numbers: BIL0U00, BIL0V00, BIL3500, BJL2D00, BJL2E00, BJL2T00, BJL2U00. There will also be a UPC code you can check: 300450122308.
4. The medicine recalled is only the grape flavored liquid.
5. You can keep your medicine if you don't want to go through the recall process. The company has a YouTube video with instructions on use of SimpleMeasure. If the flow restrictor at the top of the bottle remains in place instead of having been pushed into the bottle, simply following the instructions in the video should ensure you get the right dosage for your baby:
6. If you're unsure, you can ask Tylenol for a refund right online or by calling McNeil at 1-888-222-6036 (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time; Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
Are your kids taking the Tylenol covered in this liquid?

and to measure too..
How was that confusing?? I'm not sure how that was any different than what I normally do....
Also, its great because little children can't get into it and such it down..... I don't see this as a bad thing but a good thing and I"m still scratching my head wondering how anyone could be confused about this....
haha. I love reading the above posts. SO many grammatical errors (Not saying I am perfect, but I am not picking on people about their "common sense" So...this should go without saying, Don't insult people who may not get things done correctly..especially when you can't do everything perfectly (in this case...spelling, proper grammer) I hope I have said enough. WOW. attack of the people......Oy
Maybe people should just stop buying tylenol. I've bought one bottle in 3 years and returned it in one of many recalls. No thanks. What other companies can get away with that many recalls?
I also posted something and I wrote how I feel about the matter and was being judged about what I wrote. what and ass that person was. So what an error , it just lets us know we are all humans and can make a mistake. The way i look at it if people don't like my comment well they can kiss my a$$.
