Quiz: Cat Toy Or Baby Toy?

Cats And Baby ToysMy friend Amy-Lynn is such a fussbudget. My kids are both slightly older than her twins, who aren’t quite crawling yet. Whenever we come over, she spends the whole visit swooping down and snatching toys out of my babies’ hands, saying “Oh no! That’s a cat toy, yuck!”

Am I nuts? I don’t really care. Her cuddly indoor cats are healthy, if a bit obese, and I'm not a germophobe. As long as they're not chokeable toys, I figure, what's the diff? (I'm more troubled by the news that our neighborhood sandbox is, according to my neighborhood email list, the local feral cats’ bathroom--yuck!)

In fact, I challenge you to tell the difference between cat toys and baby toys. Maybe this says something about how we feel about our cats … or our babies … or maybe it just says that four-legged indoor creatures like fun toys. Hmm. I wonder how Abby would like a laser pointer?

Can you tell the cat toys from the baby toys?

Yeah, I know that last one is kind of obvious -- but can you really tell me your baby wouldn't get a kick out of it? Are you paranoid about pet germs? How many did you get correct?
